Rhipsalis is a jungle cactus, coming from a tropical rainforest climate rather than a desert. They are epiphytic plants, meaning they usually grow on top of other plants in jungle treetops. Rhipsalis prefer to be kept in small pots which allows them to quickly dry out between waterings.
