Melocactus Azureus

Melocactus Azureus is a symmetrical cactus with beautiful, strong spines. These cacti become very interesting with age, growing a fuzzy "cephalium" on top of the cactus that produces the plant's flowers and edible fruit. This strange growth is what gives this cactus its common name of Turk's Cap Cactus.
