Cleistocactus Strausii

Cleistocactus strausii is also known as silver torch cactus as its many spines give it a fuzzy, silver covering. Although the stems on this cactus stay fairly thin, it will grow many branches and to create a cluster of silvery stems. This cactus is particularly known for having many closed flowers protruding from the stems.
