Adenium obesum subsp. Boehmianum, or simply known as Adenium boehmianum, is a slow-growing shrub with succulent stems. These are easy plants to grow, provided they get enough sunlight and warmth. 

Many types of Adenium, also known as Desert Rose, come from very arid and rocky regions of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. These plants start quite small and grow slowly into impressive specimens with thick fat trunks and short upright branches. Adenium can produce many flowers in the spring and fall and it is normal for the leaves to drop in the winter.
