Calathea Warscewiccii

The Calathea warscewiczii is a spectacular tropical houseplant, prized for its velvety, contrasting foliage of rare elegance. Native to the humid forests of Central America, particularly Costa Rica and Nicaragua, it belongs to the Marantaceae family.

This species is distinguished by its large, lance-shaped leaves, elongated and slightly wavy, measuring up to 30–40 cm in length. The upper surface displays a deep, velvety green adorned with a lighter green chevron pattern, while the underside reveals a magnificent purplish-violet hue, typical of calatheas.
