Tephrocactus Paper Spine Cactus

Also known as opuntia diademata or paper spine cactus, the tephro looks like it is from an alien world! It has long thick tubular structures which paper like spines all over it. The spines sometimes fall off but they always grow back. Tephrocactus articulatus is drought tolerant and needs direct sunlight to thrive. It has beautiful white flowers with a yellow center. It grows quickly and is easy to maintain.
