Euphorbia milii, the crown of thorns, Christ plant, or Christ thorn, is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family Euphorbiaceae, native to Madagascar. It is a shrub-like plant with many spines and small, colourful flowers that can bloom for months at a time.
As with many other Euphorbia species, the latex from the plant is poisonous and can cause skin irritations. Despite its thorny protection, it is best to keep it out of reach of animals!
