Pilosocereus Pachycladus (Blue Torch)

The Pilosocereus Pachycladus, commonly known as Blue Torch, is a cactus native to the arid regions of Brazil. The stems of this cactus are upright, cylindrical, and can reach up to 3 to 5 meters in height in their natural habitat, but generally remain smaller when cultivated indoors. The stems are blue-green to blue-gray in color. Each areole produces several radial spines, usually yellow to light brown, and one or two central spines that are longer and more robust.
