Euphorbia flanaganii, commonly known as Transkei medusa's head, is a succulent plant that belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae. This Euphorbia gets its nickname from the Greek mythological character Medusa. As the name suggests, it grows into a small clump of thin, snake-like stems.
As with many other Euphorbia species, the latex from the plant is poisonous and can cause skin irritations. Despite it's thorny protection, it is best to keep it out of reach of animals!
