Q: When will my order be shipped?
R: Orders can take up to 7 business days before being shipped (depending on the order).
Q: Will my plants arrive in good condition?
R: Over 95% of our orders arrive in excellent condition. In the case of damage during the shipping process, send us an e-mail and we will be more than happy to help!
Q: Can I order even though it’s cold outside?
R: We deliver all year round, rain or shine! However, in the case of extreme temperatures (ie. +35 degrees in summer or -20 degrees in winter), we hold all orders until the temperature is appropriate for shipping. Any plants shipped during cold periods are packaged with heating packs to keep the plants warm!
Q: How will my plants be shipped?
R: We ship our orders using Canada Post. We have signed an agreement with the courier to ensure the quality of your plants upon arrival. Boxes will only be left in a secure and warm location. All plants are shipped in their nursing pot with soil. It is possible that there may be soil in the box upon delivery.
Q: What happens if I’m not home when my order is delivered?
R: During the winter months, if no one is home to receive your order, it will be available for pick up at the nearest Canada Post deposit location. During the summer months, if the temperature is appropriate and the area is deemed secure, the courier will leave the package in front of your door. We have never had any problems with stolen packages, but if you have any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Q: I just received a plant that is damaged/dead. What should I do?
R: If there are any problems with your order, please contact us immediately upon receiving the package and we will be glad to help you. You can reach us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: When are orders normally shipped?
R: We organize our shipments in order to minimize the time that your plant will spend in its box. This means that orders are generally packaged and shipped on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to allow for delivery before the weekend.
Q: How do I know if my plant will look like the one in the picture?
R: Quality is very important to us! We do not ship plants that are smaller or less attractive than the pictures on our website. In most cases, the plant you receive will be even nicer than the one you see in the picture.
Q: How long will my plant be in the box?
R: On average, your plant will spend about 2 to 4 days in the box it is shipped in. It is important to open your package the same day you receive it. In extreme cases, plants can survive up to 6 days in their packaging.
Q: How do I take care of my cactus?
R: Cactus and succulents are very low maintenance plants. The key is to let the soil dry out completely before watering (all the way to the bottom of the pot!). When it comes time to water, make sure you completely soak the soil. You can even bring your plant to the sink and allow water to absorb from the bottom of the pot. Just make sure you let the excess water drain out afterwards. After watering, you should place your cactus in a sunny spot to allow it to dry as quick as possible. Check out our blog for more tips!
Q: My postal code is not working when I try to place an order. What should I do?
R: In order to prevent cases of fraud, you must enter the billing address that is attached to your credit card. If this address is different than the shipping address, you can check off “different address” and enter the address that you would like us to deliver to.
